Our Practitioners at Hollies Day Nurseries are trained to use Marte Meo supportive interaction with the children attending each day. Using supportive interactions in daily life moments supports the social, emotional and communication development of each child. Marte Meo is the 'how’ piece of child development and has at the crux of its ethos, information on ‘how' to support the social and emotional developmental needs of children, which is fundamental in forming the foundation for all other areas of their development.
We have embraced the Marte Meo method as a way to ensure quality in the day to day interactions between our Practitioners and the child/children attending the nursery. We are open from 7:30am till 6:00pm Monday - Friday. The nurseries are closed on all bank holidays, public holidays, the period between Christmas and New Year. We are closed from Friday, 22 December 2023, reopening Tuesday, 2 January 2024 and close for summer half term Monday 27th of May, reopening Monday, 3 June 2024.
