The Support Team

At Hollies Day Nurseries we have a unique 'Support Team' to mentor, support and guide our team in all aspects of the administration, planning and paperwork required.

Lizzy 2Lizzy Barlow: Nursery Group Leader, Forest School Coordinator.

Lizzy has been with Hollies Day Nurseries since 2005 and is our Nursery Group Leader & our Forest School Coordinator. Lizzy works across all sites  and as the Forest School Coordinator continues to embed our philosphy of 'bringing outdoor learning to life'. Lizzy is  our nursery Group SENDCO (Special Educational Need & Disabilities Coordinator) and Group Designated Safeguarding Officer.


Foundation Degree in Children's and Young People's Service's, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development, Forest School Practitioner Level 3, Paediatric First Aid, Forest School out door First Aid,Food Hygiene Level 2 and Advance Safeguarding Train the Trainer.

Myles2Myles Pike - Accounts Administrator

Myles joined Hollies February 2015. 


AAT Level 2, NVQ IT Level 3, Customer Service Level 2, currently working towards his AAT Level 3, Myles has 8 years experience in Customer Service.


HelenHelen Doherty - Accounts Administrator

Helen has worked at this setting since September 2002. 


AAT Accountancy Level 2 & 3, BSC Degree in Computing, over thirteen years experience, Safeguarding & Child Protection.




Sadi Meakin: Key Person Mentor

The Key person Mentor will work  supporting the teams with observations, development files and tracking children’s development. They will also be responsible alongside the management team for implementing new ideas to ensure the paperwork is of the highest standard at all times.

Team members can seek support from the key person mentor in any of the above areas. Also during supervision if it is identified that a particular team member needs further support with an area of paper work they will be signposted to the Key person mentor.


CliffClifford Bannister - Maintenance

Cliff Joined Hollies in December 2017 and is responsible for the maintenance of all four nurseries.
